Not for Everyone
Wanna know something that might sting the ego? Sometimes we - as people, our products, or our services - aren't going to be for everyone. We're not meant for that, because if we were, we'd be the only ones doing it. Let that marinate for a minute.
How does that make you feel? If your emotions resembled anything like I've felt in the past, then fear is probably the most predominant root to them all.
Whether we or our businesses are passed up for someone else, or straight up ignored altogether - the kneejerk feelings of unacceptance, disappointment, and anger usually boils down to fear. Why? Because our egos are hypersensitive to survival, scarcity, and lack - and so it's second nature to want to feel necessary, relevant, and prominent within the group.
More likes & shares --> followers --> business opportunities --> more income, so therefore a less chance of not being able to survive. In the end, most of us just want to live comfortably.
And I'm here to tell you there's a way off that emotional hamster wheel.
Although I still have to remind myself now and then, here's where I'm able to stand at this point of my journey: Others can absolutely do what I do, but no one can do it exactly how I do it. My personality may be a great fit for her or him, but maybe I'm not quite your jam which is perfectly okay. There's MORE than enough to go around - money, wealth, abundance, clients, opportunities, etc. The people and opportunities that are meant for you will never be for someone else, and they WILL come as long as you are in that frequency to receive them.
Notice I didn't say they will come when you work harder, hustle farther, or grind longer. If that were the case, then we would have more billionaires than the poor.
Celebrate when others win, don't fret it if things are moving at a snail's pace, let jealousy roll right off your back, and release the fear of missing out. Just remain consistent & clear about who or what you want to come into your life, why you want it to, and continue to operate from a place of gratitude - your abundance, success, opportunities and tribe will find YOUR vibe.
